This is fantastic advice! I love your “Best Brain” approach—I often feel more clear-headed in the morning and use that time to do open-ended generative, pajama-clad thinking (like thought-mapping) for one or more projects. I like early afternoon (once I’ve been outside) for sit-down writing work.

Thank you so much, Sara! And it’s funny, I really can tell when I have Best Brain and Less Brain. But somehow thinking in those terms also helps me to get things done even when I have LB—because there’s always ‘mindless’ work to be done!
