What do you do when you are at the conference with something that feels half-baked and really not up to the standard that you promised in the abstract? Surely this happens to more people than just myself...

I am so grateful to you for asking this question because I am positive that this sort of thing happens to all of us at one point or another. There have been many times when I’ve written up a conference paper (or even submitted the first version of an article or essay) and thought, Is it ok to share something that isn’t GREAT yet?
